Factors Affecting Rose Quartz’s Price & Quality

You should know what factors affect Rose Quartz price in India, well before buying it. If you know how the price and quality of gemstones are determined, you will be able to avoid scams and get top-quality stones. The factors that influence a Rose Quartz gemstone’s price are:

• Colour

The Rose Quartz crystal, which has a soft pink colour evenly distributed all over, is considered both auspicious and aesthetically demanded. In addition to evenly distributed colour, the stone should not have any impurities. Such stones are priced much higher than ones with uneven colour and unclean texture.

• Origin

The Rose Quartz gemstone from Madagascar and Brazil is considered highly valued compared to other origins of this stone. That is why the original Rose Quartz from Madagascar and Brazil costs more than their other alternatives.

• Clarity

The Rose Quartz gem has a superfine clarity with negligible inclusions. Any stones that have a dull or cloudy appearance would sell cheaper than the clear ones.

• Cut

Since giving a perfect cut to a stone as beautiful as the Rose Quartz needs some skill and craftsmanship, well-cut stones are priced higher than freeform or cabochon pieces.

• Carat

The weight and size of the gemstone directly affect its price. The heavier or bigger your Rose Quartz is in size, the more it will cost.

• Certification

For authenticity and best astrological significance, you should always prefer buying a certified gemstone. Since gemstones are certified by International Gemological labs, it increases the cost of the stone a little bit more.

• Treatments

Treated stones are sold at lower prices than untreated ones. Since treated stones hold no astrological significance, you should know that they will always cost much less than real Rose Quartz stones.
